FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Copywriting is the creation of written text for marketing or advertising purposes. Contrary to popular belief it has nothing to do with copyright so I can’t help you with the legal side of protecting your intellectual property (but I can write you a cracking blog post).
The turnaround time depends on how much you want written, how much research is involved and a number of other factors. I will give you a timeframe for delivery before I get started - as a rule you can expect to get your completed first draft within 10 days.
While my goal is always to get it right first time, there are some times when changes might be needed. My fee includes two rounds of revisions to make sure you’re 100% happy with your content. The only time this doesn’t apply is if your requirements change dramatically after the brief has been signed off and I’ve started writing. In this case a rewrite fee of 50% may apply.
Yes absolutely – many of my long-term clients are marketing, copywriting and SEO agencies. If you’re looking for a reliable, quality agency copywriter, you’ve come to the right place!
I’m based in Neutral Bay so if you’re in Sydney I’m happy to get together for a no obligation chat over a coffee. I’m also available on Skype or over the phone.
It will help me greatly to have an idea of your business positioning, your target audience and what you’re hoping to achieve with your content. Before we start working together I will ask you to complete a brief form (or we can complete it together over the phone). This can be done online and only takes a few minutes. Once complete this will give me all the information I need to write your content.
While all the ongoing services I provide are on a month to month basis with no lock in contracts, I do ask new clients to sign a service agreement. This is to protect both of us and make sure you understand how I work and what is included in my services.
Once you’ve accepted my quote I ask for a deposit of 50% of the total amount before I can get started. The rest is payable once the work is completed – this is standard industry practice.
